art follows what i ordinarily do. i am an outdoors man;
i hope my landscapes evoke the sense of a moment in time-light reflecting off wet rocks
on a distant shoreline; a sky that as kids made us imagine clouds as objects;
reflections on a quiet pond on a summer morning or those times between sunlight
and darkness. an acquaintance once told me until seeing a show of my landscapes
he rarely looked at the sky. now he does as a matter of habit.
that is a response i am very thrilled with.
