i paint abstract internal landscape of what i see and how i experience life.
i paint in oils and usually on a large scale with a combination
of brushes, painting knives, palette knives and my hands.
my paintings start as reflections of myself and then grow into reflections
of those who connect with them.
i leave my pictures open-ended with space for the human
imagination to draw its own inferences from the architecture of its private world.
i title a painting only if I find words I think compliment it without containing it.
i believe in an abundance of goodness and beauty and in our individual responsibility
to cultivate this within ourselves so that we can share it with one another.
my work is about this - about this process of nurturing something into bloom.
being self- taught has given me the freedom to break all of the rules i
never knew and the freedom to paint without fear.
i rejoice in this freedom-it keeps me painting from the inside out, happy and sincere.
