my work concerns issues of gender, self, loss and memory.
collage, transfers, wax and oil paint are some of the tools used
to extend the life of the photograph and thus transform not only its surface,
but its meaning as well.
the photographic image serves as a starting point and/or a substrate.
expanding the photograph by combining it with printmaking,
drawing and painting embraces a process in which a new language
of photographic images is developed.
