through my art i try to come to grips with the human and broader life conditions that
seem inexplicable in words: the paradoxes, the ambiguity, strength and fragility,
tenuousness and stability, materiality and spirituality, life and death.
the approach i use in intuitive.
i use direct wax and other combustible material to make the sculpture because
i wantto cast my ideas in their original and freshest form. i feel that the vitality of
a work is often lost through reproduction. thus, with very few exceptions, my
sculptures are all of a kind.
